The 7-Eleven Hawai‘i website may contain links to websites that are owned and operated by other companies. Third Party websites and mobile apps are not covered under this Statement.

As you use our services, we gather information about you and the services you use. Some examples of using our “services” are when you visit one of our stores, visit our website, create a 7-Eleven Hawai‘i account, buy a gift card online, or participate in a survey, sweepstakes or promotion. The use and non-use of the information you provide to us is explained in this Statement.


7-Eleven Hawai‘i may gather information about the product(s) you purchase, what location you purchase products, how frequently you purchase products as well as rewards earned as a result of a purchase. 7-Eleven Hawai‘i also collects information about you in order to complete an in-store purchase or to provide you with a refund or exchange. 7-Eleven Hawai‘i does not sell or otherwise share your personal information with anyone else, such as advertising agencies or marketing companies. 7-Eleven Hawai‘i sends flyers or brochures only to those customers who specifically request that they be added to the mailing list. This information is sent to customers by regular mail or e-mail, depending on the customer’s election.


Generally, 7-Eleven Hawai‘i keeps your personal information only as long as it needs to in order to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected. For example, if you send a written inquiry to 7-Eleven Hawai‘i, we will retain your letter long enough to deal with your query, and for a reasonable time thereafter in order to satisfy itself no further follow-up is required.

Customers who are registered on our Internet database service are given the ability to update their personal information as it changes. Because most of the information we get from you is related to a single purchase, we generally encounter few problems with inaccuracy of information. However, should inaccurate information come to our attention, we will investigate the matter, correct the information, and if necessary, advise third parties that the information has been corrected.


Only those staff members who need the information to respond to your requests are given access to it. Employees are provided with training and information regarding the proper handling of personal information of 7-Eleven Hawai‘i customers. 7-Eleven Hawai‘i may also collect personal information about employees of various companies who are 7-Eleven Hawai‘i corporate clients. For example, a company may contract with 7-Eleven Hawai‘i to supply all of its employee meals. When the employee comes in to make his or her purchase, 7-Eleven Hawai‘i collects information about the nature of that employee’s purchases and may provide that information to the employer.


7-Eleven Hawai‘i’s retail stores are equipped with surveillance cameras. These cameras are in place for your safety as a customer, as well as for our own protection against crime. CDs, DVDs or tapes that record your image are routinely destroyed or overwritten (within 7 to 14 days) and not shared with third parties unless there is suspicion of a crime or injury, in which case they are turned over to the appropriate agency.
