As the world’s original convenience store, 7-Eleven remains the largest chain in the convenience retailing industry, with 77,000 stores worldwide in 17 countries.
Beginning June 7, all 7-Eleven Hawai‘i stores will add Hawaiian Airlines Exclusive Blend to its line of fresh brewed coffee.
Although Hawai‘i is not part of the contiguous 48 states, it too shares its love of sandwiches. And 7-Eleven Hawai‘i is “a cut above” when crafting them for all 65 neighborhood stores across the state.
Earlier this year, the Department of Health kindly connected us with the folks at the Kapi‘olani Community College’s Culinary Arts School. We met with Dr. Lauren Tamamoto and Program Coordinator Daniel Leung in the summer to brainstorm some partnership ideas. After our discussion, we collectively decided that our first venture together would be a Bento Competition for the culinary students.
As we open the doors to our newly renovated Ewa Beach store this week, we would like to recognize a family that has been involved in far more than assisting us with the establishment of our current location in this neighborhood.
On February 22nd of this year, 7-Eleven Hawaii opened its doors in the Lawai neighborhood. Residents were all too familiar with this particular location as it echoes the history of the Matsuura Family – our benchmark of convenience for this area.
